GoPro have unveiled the Hero6 Black and are touting it as the most powerful and convenient GoPro yet.

With 4k as well as 1080p video, it’s waterproof, spherical camera comes with a new feature, Follow mode for the Karma drone.

Using GPS the Karma drone will automatically follow the controller while you are on the go, keeping you framed in the shot.

The GoPro Hero6 is also optimised for Quikstories an app feature that makes it easy to share short vids of your adventures.

Designed with 3 times faster Wi-Fi than previous models, your footage rapidly transfers from your GoPro to your phone.

The Camera also features an all new touch zoom.

The Hero6 camera is retailing in Australia for $749.95 or $849.99 in New Zealand.

Go Pro hopes that the new Hero6 will boost demand after a bumpy year that has seen the company suffer production delays, recalls and increasing competition.

GoPro have been reducing costs and updating products and investors have faith this camera will see the company through the Christmas season.
