Nintendo Switch bending?

Over the last couple of days it have been reported by users of NeoGAF, Reddit and confirmed by tech blogger Technobuffalo that the Nintendo Switch may be suffering with a fault where the unit is forming a slight bend.

While at first is seemed these bend were only being formed in units predominantly used in dock mode, It appears that this is not the case.

NeoGaf user “_NSR” posted the following pic stating that his Nintendo Switch started bending/warping after playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for 40-50 hours while in docked mode.

While another NeoGAF user “Jokir” also stated his Switch is primarily used in dock mode is also suffering from this fate:

Confirmed by Technobuffalo as follows with his own Switch:

This initially looked to be purely an issue for those who play in docked mode , until twitter users started to point out that Switch consoles being used only as a portable device are also having this issue:

This does seem to only be in a select few cases however it’s going to be interesting to see if this is in fact a design fault, and also whether Nintendo will ignore the issue or claim it to be not an issue at all.
